Donald T. White, 85 yrs. old of South New Berlin, NY passed away on March 30, 2019 in Cooperstown, NY.
Donald was born on January 14, 1934 to Kathryn (Chapin) and Ralph White in New Berlin, NY. He was a 1952 graduate of South New Berlin Central School and a 1954 graduate of SUNY Delhi. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy from June 1954 through June 1958. After his discharge, Donald worked for a short time for the G.L.A. in Norwich, NY before being employed at Bendix Corp. in Sidney, NY. He worked for 28 yrs. as a tool designer until his retirement in 1988.
In 1963 Donald T. White and Joyce M Green were united in marriage at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in New Berlin, NY.
Donald is survived by two daughters and two sons; Constance K. Woodward of Buxton, ME, Rebecca L. Henry of Fort Collins, CO, Stephen R. White of South New Berlin, NY and Leander D. White also of South New Berlin. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother; Russell C. White.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
