Irene Dart, 93 yrs old.
Pittsfiled, NY.

Passed away on January 27, 2014 at A.O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta, NY.

Irene was born on September 5, 1920 in Pittsfield, NY the daughter of Juan & Myrtle (Deming) Prosser.  Her childhood was spent in Pittsfield, NY and she was a 1936 graduate of New Berlin High School.

On September 8, 1940, she married Ford H. Dart who predeceased her on January 3, 1983.

She is survived by her two children; Mrs. Melvin (Dianne) Perry of New Berlin, NY and Charles Dart also of New Berlin as well as two grandchildren; Rodney Perry and Jennifer Hoyt and three great grandchildren; Emily, Kayleigh and Marc Hoyt.

Irene was a member of the Butternut Valley Grange for 65 years as well as the County, State and National Granges.  She was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Morris, NY.

A graveside service will be held in the spring.

Arrangements are with the Dakin Funeral Home, LP.

Charles I don't know if you remember me, but we were class mates in New Berlin until we moved to Edmeston.

Hi Dianne, I am sorry to hear about your Mom. I talked to her a couple times over the phone when I was trying to get in touch with you RE: class reunions. My father Edwin was born in 1913 and spent alot of his childhood in Pittsfield also of which he had many good memories.
I will keep you in my prayers.

Diane, Jennifer and family - we were so sorry to hear of Aunt Irene's passing.
I still remember Thanksgiving dinner at the farm when I was small. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.
