David Coleman, 66 years old of New Berlin, NY passed away on April 4, 2024, at his home.

David was born in Hamilton, NY, the son of Walter Coleman Sr. and Ruth (Olson) Coleman. 

He attended New Berlin Central School where he enjoyed playing football.  He graduated with the class of 1977.  After graduation he worked in construction for many different companies. 

David was an outdoorsman and a hard worker who enjoyed motorcycles, four wheelers and hunting.  He loved his family and animals.  He also loved his work and built his family’s home.

On August 14, 1982, he married Nancy Brownell in South Edmeston, NY.  She survives him.

In addition to his wife Nancy, David is survived by his children, Joshua (Sheena) Coleman and Lacy (John) Curtis, both of New Berlin as well as his grandchildren, Shania, Katelyn and Jason Curtis and Kyle Coleman and his siblings, Anne Collins, Walter Coleman, Jr., Rick Coleman, and Mary Cummings.  He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in David’s memory to Helios Care, 297 River Street Service Rd., Oneonta, NY  13820.
