Louis Whipple

Louis Whipple, 86 yrs. old of Hubbardsville, NY passed away on July 10, 2024, at Crouse Community Center, Morrisville, NY.

Louis was born on February 4, 1938, in Cooperstown, NY, the son of Frederick & Abby Pearl Whipple.   Louis spent most of his life in the New Berlin area where he attended New Berlin Central School.   He worked at many jobs over the years and enjoyed his time at Hamilton Senior Services where he met his wife, Carol.

Louis was a collector of many things.   He was very happy go lucky and a big joker who loved his computer, being on his CB radio, and spending time on arts and crafts.

On February 11, 2004, Louis married Carol (Taylor) Whipple who survives him.

In addition to his wife, Louis is survived by his brother, Herbert Whipple of New Berlin and sisters, Nellie Davis of Greene, NY, Emma Davis of Norwich, NY and Mary Uplinger of Ocala, Fl.   He was predeceased by his brothers, Douglas, Everett and Frankie Whipple.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY.   Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service.   The interment will be in the St. Andrew’s Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
