Shane Kenneth Patrick, 56, of the Town of Pittsfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, surrounded by his family at his home.
Shane was born on October 29th, 1969, in Cooperstown, New York, to Dean Patrick and Faye Jones. He spent his childhood in New Berlin and attended New Berlin Central School.
Shane was married to Connie S. Patrick. They were married on June 16th, 2024 at the South Edmeston Baptist Church. Shane was employed at the Pittsfield Highway Department after obtaining his CDL. For many years, Shane was a self-employed carpenter and a skilled contractor. Shane also spent many years logging timber.
He enjoyed hunting, spending time down at the river, and riding four-wheelers. Shane lived life to its fullest every day. He was a family man and loved all of his children and his accomplishments. Shane was known for being loved by everyone, and especially for his good dance moves. He was a great man who could get along with anyone, a kind-hearted soul who could do just about anything, and someone who would help anyone in need, always with a smile.
Shane attended Burlington Flats Baptist Church, where he was a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Shane is survived by his wife Connie S Patrick and his children: Heather Franklin and her husband Matthew, Michael Patrick and his wife Ashley, Chloe Patrick, and Shayne Patrick. He is also survived by Connie's children, Juliea Chambers and her husband Gary, and Mikayla Shallert and her husband Zach, three grandchildren with another on the way and six step-grandchildren whom he adored, his brothers Shawn Patrick and Chris Patrick, and nieces and nephews. Shane was predeceased by his sister, Michelle, and by his grandson Asher.
A celebration of life will be held in honor of Shane at a later time to be announced.
