Linda Anne Rood, 80 yrs. old of Edmeston, formerly of New Berlin, NY passed away on August 13, 2023, at MIB Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.
Linda was born on July 13, 1943, in Norwich, NY, the daughter of Ralph & Sarah (York) Burdick. Her childhood was spent in the New Berlin, NY area. She was a graduate of New Berlin Central School.
Linda is survived by her children; Dalynn Ward of Edmeston, NY, Devin Frink of Cato, NY, Stuart Rood Jr of Edmeston, NY and Robert Rood of Conesus, NY, stepchildren; Sherry, Celeste, and Gordy, 3 grandchildren; Cameron, Makayla & Austin, great grandson; Cade and brother; Kendall Burdick.
Per Linda’s wishes, no services will be held.
