Rachael Galesky

Rachael Galesky, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 39. Rachael was born on March 31, 1986, in Lakewood, NJ, and spent her life embracing the beauty of nature and cherishing the moments spent outdoors.

Rachael had an enduring love for frogs, halloween, and all things related to the natural world. Her vibrant spirit was evident in her devotion to her children, Kassandra and Mariah Benjamin, with whom she created countless cherished memories.

She is survived by her daughters Kassandra and Mariah, her parents Patrick and Christine Galesky, and her siblings: sisters Stella Galesky and Krystal Galesky, and brother Michael Galesky. Rachael also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored her. She lived with and was helped by Pamela Benjamin for the last couple years of her life.

Rachael was preceded by her brother, Lennie John Galesky, and family friend, Karla Benjamin, both of whom she treasured deeply.

Calling hours to celebrate Rachael’s life will take place on November 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Dakin Funeral Home, located at 17 N Main St, New Berlin, NY, 13411.

Rachael's warmth and love for family and friends will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of kindness and appreciation for the wonders of nature will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
