Jentje “James” Postma, 91 yrs. old of South Edmeston, NY passed away on July 9, 2018 in Norwich, NY.
James was born on May 7, 1927 in Holand, Oudega, Netherlands the son of Bouwe & Gatske (Bouma) Postma. His childhood was spent in the Netherlands. He served in the Dutch Army and was stationed in Indonesia and later worked as a dairy farmer.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Willem Postma and sister, Richtje Leenstra.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to the South Edmeston Community Church.
