Mary Smith

Mary Frances DeForest Smith passed on June 18th, 2026. Mary was born May 25th, 1945 to E. Frances Layton DeForest French and Donald DeForest. 

Mary worked at the Norwich Shoe Factory on Hale Street for ten and a half years, then babysat in her home for a few years after her sons were in school and in college. She then went to work for the A+P in Norwich as a price checker for five and a half years.

Mary has two sons, Donald Smith of Johnson City and Jesse Smith of Norwich, and one granddaughter, Kristen of Old Forge, PA. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bruce Smith.
