Daniel “Skip” J. Kroenung 85 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY passed away on November 29, 2017 at M.I.B. Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

Skip was born on August 23, 1932 in Nyack, NY the son of Daniel & Eleanor (Wesel) Kroenung.  His childhood was spent in New City, NY.

In 1951, he married Elizabeth Morrison, his wife of 66 years.  Elizabeth survives him.

He is also survived by his children; Nancy Mullen, Mary Kroenung, and Lynn Leonard, grandchildren; Nicole, Angie, Shaun, and Amy and 6 great grandchildren as well as one brother; Nick Kroenung, a niece and a nephew.  He was pre-deceased by two grandchildren; Jamie and DJ.

Skip was employed by Mabell Telephone in Nanuet.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the New City Fire Department, serving as chief for 2 years.
