Jennie Dodge

Jennie Marie (Whitmore) Dodge, 85 yrs. old of Smyrna, NY passed away at her home on September 30, 2022.

Jennie was born on September 19, 1937, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Floyd & Eliza (Halstead) Whitmore. She was a graduate of Hancock Central School.   She babysat many children for many years and, helped her husband mow lawns for Webb & Sons, Lok N Logs.   Her husband, George N. Dodge Sr., predeceased her on July 10, 2017.

Jennie is survived by her daughter, Cynthia A. (Dodge) Anderson, son, George N. Dodge, Jr. grandsons, Harold Anderson and Dillion Dodge, granddaughter, and her husband, Jennifer (Anderson) and David Moore, great grandchildren; Caden Anderson, Madison Moore, Hannah Moore, brothers, Edward, Howard, Richard, Jack and Donald Whitmore, sister, Marie Rowe and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband George, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Wayne D. Anderson, great granddaughter, Isla Moore, brothers, Raymond, John and David Whitmore and sisters, Helen (Whitmore) Hillman, Nellie (Whitmore) Mead, Velma (Whitmore) Baldwin, Ruth (Whitmore) Rowe, Lois (Whitmore) Drake and Vickie (Allen) (Whitmore) Bullis.
