Connie Lidell

Connie J Lidell, beloved wife, mom, and Nana passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

She was born on September 19, 1952 to Francis and Martha Stanton in New Berlin, NY. On November 11, 1972, she married the love of her life, Tim Lidell. Together, on the family farm, they raised their two daughters, Amy and Angie.

Whether Connie was playing pitch with her siblings, trying to teach the girls how to make her famous spaghetti and apple sauce, or cooking for all the holidays, she loved being surrounded by family and being in the kitchen.

Connie is survived by her loving husband Tim, and daughters Amy (Marty) Grant and Angie (Brad) Alger. She was also a beloved “Nana” to Alicia (Juston) Grant, Colin (Morgan) Grant, Brynn Grant, and Owen Alger and a “Great Nana” to her little loves, River, Garrett, and Hannah. Connie is also survived by her siblings, Dick Stanton, Joanne Williams, Donna (Granny Pam) Stanton, Jack (Christy) Stanton, and Sue (Brian) Klim, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and her fur babies, Bailey, Cooper, Odie, Boots, Tiger, and Kitser.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Amy Crouse and the amazing staff at Norwich Rehab and Nursing Center who showered Connie with endless amounts of love and support during the final weeks of her life.

In honoring Connie’s final wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. We will be hosting a Celebration of life for Connie on Sunday, May 18th from 1-4 pm at the Pittsfield Fire House.
