Dudley Alonzo Church, 82 yrs. old of South New Berlin, NY passed away on February 20, 2017 in Venice, Fl.
Dudley was born on February 25, 1934 in Smyrna, NY, the son of Samuel & Lillian (Helmuth) Church. His childhood was spent in Chenango County and he attended Sherburne & Norwich area schools.
He was employed by the Village of New Berlin for 30 years as a member of the DPW.
On December 10, 1958 he married Marion Miller who survives him.
He is also survived by his children; Richard & Martin Ashton, Daniel Church Patricia Kost, Joann Beardsley, and Lisa Church, 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and siblings; Viola Moon, Edwin Church, Josephine Church, Samuel Church, Isabella Gage, Richard Church, Lillian Long and Archie Church.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 12th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin, NY with Pastor Dan Baltich officiating. Calling hours will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin, NY. |
