Theresa M. St. Hilaire
75 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY

Went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2013.

Theresa, the youngest of six children born to Howard & Fern (Combs) Golley, was born September 5, 1937 in the town of Florence N.Y. She spent her childhood in Cazenovia, NY, where she graduated from Cazenovia High School in 1956.  Theresa had the honor of meeting and marrying the love of her life Donald J. St. Hilaire Sr. on the 2nd of January 1960.  Their love was a shining example to all that knew them of exactly what love should be. The couple moved to New Berlin in 1978 realizing their dream of owning and operating the Deer Path Restaurant located just north of New Berlin for many years.

There are many that knew and loved Theresa through the years, she is survived by her children; Donald (Son)& Jennifer St. Hilaire of Oklahoma City, OK, Charles (Son) & Sheila St. Hilaire of Souderton, PA, David (Son) & Teri St. Hilaire of Largo, FL and Theresa (Daughter) & Mike Anson of New Berlin, NY.  Theresa was also the proud grandmother of her ten loving grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Theresa is also survived by her brother Howard Golley of Chittenango, NY and sister Mary Bavo of Canastota, NY.

Theresa was predeceased by a brother Lloyd Golley and two sisters; Betty St. Hilaire and Evelyn Mosher-Walters.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the West Edmeston First Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Buck officiating.  Calling hours will be held from 1:00-3:00 prior to the funeral service at the church.

The interment will be held in the West Edmeston Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to loving and compassionate staff at Chase Memorial Nursing Home in New Berlin for their compassionate care provided to Theresa during the eight years she lived there.

The family has asked that Memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Chase Memorial Nursing Home, 1 Terrace Heights, New Berlin, NY  13411.

Wonderfull friends.We enjoyed eating there Sundays only place I could get my husband to go :). We had our daughters wedding reception an rehearshall dinner there. Enjoyed stopping in the nursing home to see her when I lived down that way. Now she`s reunited with the love of her life an Jesus. Sending my love an condolences to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Theresa's passing. I met her thru the nursing home when my Mom was there. I enjoy chatting with her at supper time & listening to her life - she thought the world of her family. She was also telling me she owned the Deer Path, which was interesting to hear. She was a special lady.
