Arlene M. Jones
79 yrs old of New Berlin, NY

Passed away on May 14, 2013 at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY.

Arlene was born on June 20, 1933 in Laurens, NY the daughter of Rupert C. & Ruth H. (Beebe) Davis.  On October 5, 1956 she married Sanford M. Jones who survives her.

She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Brenda K. & Charles Seaver of Middletown, PA, her son and daughter-in-law; Thomas S. & Judith Jones of New Berlin, her grandson and his fiancée; Thomas C. Jones and Danielle Conklin of New Berlin, NY, her granddaughters and their husbands; Andrea & Eric Wetherbee of Hummelstown, PA and Michelle and Gregory Wright of Spring Lake, NC, a great granddaughter; Kailey Weatherbee of Hummelstown, PA, and her sisters; Alice Southwick of New Berlin, NY and Lorraine Lindsay of Amherst, NY.

Arlene was a member of the South New Berlin First Baptist Church.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  Family was her life.  She loved her grandchildren very much and enjoyed attending all of the sporting and school events that they participated in.  She also enjoyed working with the ladies of the South New Berlin First Baptist Church congregation and in her spare time, crafting and scrapbooking.   She loved the outdoors, taking long walks and working with her husband Sanford on the family farm.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

The interment will be in Scribner Cemetery, New Berlin, NY.
