Alan A. Johnson,
37 yrs. old of New Berlin, NY

He was born on September 17, 1976 in Nyack, NY, the son of Alfred & Sandra (Davies) Johnson.  His childhood was spent in the West Nyack and Valley Cottage areas.  He was a graduate of Nyack High School.

He was the owner and mechanic at Affordable Automotive of Norwich, NY.

On October 20, 2006 he married Cristin Johnson, who survives him.

Alan is also survived by his father, Alfred Johnson & his wife Debra of South New Berlin; his mother, Sandra Johnson of New Berlin; three sons, Shaun, Dakota & Steven Johnson of New Berlin; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Melissa Johnson of Ames, NY; half-brother, Michael McSharry of Tuscon, AZ and two half-sisters, Lori Leseberg and husband Steven of Ellenton, FL & Deb Scialabbo and husband Joe of NJ as well as one nephew, Kevin Johnson of Lodi, NJ.  He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, New Berlin, NY with the Very Reverend Charles Taylor officiating.

A memorial service will also be held at the United Methodist Church in Pearl River in November. 

The interment will be held in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.

Alan was a devoted father who loved his children.  He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid Dale Jr. fan.  He was also a Giants fan.  He loved cooking, riding dirt bikes and muscle cars.
