I remember getting the phone call that you were gone like it was yesterday. It's been a long a year and your boys miss you.
I believe in my heart that all nurses have a very special place in heaven, and you are there looking down watching over your family
because after all that is what nurses and mothers do. Rest in peace dear Betty.

Dear Scott, Mark, and Chris and families, Please accept my sympathy for the loss of your wonderful mom. She was always a good friend and an excellent nurse. We had a good time together when in the "old" high school in Sherburne. Later, she also helped me out in Chenango Memorial when I was in the emergency room on one occasion. I know that you were so important to her and you provided her with much happiness.

I love you Aunt Jackie!!. See you this summer
Mark

Dear Scott, Mark and Chris, We are saddened to hear of your dear mother's passing. I have been thinking of all the great times we had with your mom when your family lived in Fairport. Oh how I missed those phone chats when you moved. Your mom had the ability to tell a story that could make you laugh, cry or be deeply moved. After spending time with Mark I can see he has inherited that talent too. Your mother touched so many people's lives during her nursing career. I remember as a school nurse she met some abused children, and with her big heart she wanted to bring them all home. Her biggest joy in life was being a mother to her three wonderful sons, you were her pride and joy. The grandchildren really completed her wishes. Although your mother has gone to heaven her spirit will always be felt by those who loved her. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. Yours affectionately, Aunt Jackie

I was saddened to hear about "Betty" passing. I have such fond memories of her and my mother Pauline Thornington.
They were such great friends and helped each other in all their projects. Betty then became a good friend of mine helping me thru nursing
school and being there for my graduation (like a close aunt) I always knew her to help anyone she could, in any way she could.
She lived a good and prosporous life. I know of many people she helped along the way and she left a freat legacy behind her and
people will always remember the way she helped them and I know I will always pay it forward and always think of Betty while I am doing so.
